Farm Tour Days & Boutique Open House @ Breezy Hill Farm Alpacas Date: 7/22/2012 Time: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Location: 2820 Woodbine Road, Woodbine MD 21797 (View Map) Description: We are pleased to announce our next open house and farm tours at Breezy Hill Farm this weekend; Sat-Sun, July 21-22. We’d love to have you come and enjoy a very pleasant couple of hours visiting our alpacas, chickens (including unusual breeds), peacocks, turkeys, goats and two miniature horses. And if you’ve visited before, come again! You’ll find new items in our shop and new animals in our fields! For families, it’s a lovely outing - both children and the grown-ups enjoy feeding the alpacas, petting the various animals and learning a little bit about all of them. We also welcome groups of children from day care, summer camps, as well as teen to adult clubs. For a little retail therapy, our air-conditioned shop offers a great mix of alpaca-fiber clothing, yarns, roving and accessories. We also have lovely one-of-a-kind jewelry, sumptuous soaps and beautiful artwork. We are very excited to announce two new additions to our alpaca herd! On June 13th, our girl Fortuna delivered Prince of Persia; whose dark brown fleece is spectacular. He’s a playful beauty. We also acquired Valentino, our gorgeous new herd sire. His fleece, with its remarkable density, fineness and crimp, scored an amazing 84.5 at the National Alpaca Show. He is sired by Justinian and world-renowned Caligula is his grandsire! Alpaca farmers, Valentino is just starting in our breeding program. If you are interested in adding champion qualities to your bloodline and fleece program, look no further. So, whether you are looking to expand or start your own alpaca herd, do a bit of shopping in our boutique, or simply enjoy some time on the farm with our animals, we invite you to stop in for a visit. We encourage you to make a day of it by adding a trip to the nearby “pick your own” Larriland Farm. They are located exactly 1 mile down the road from us at 2415 Woodbine Road and have lovely fruits and vegetables for picking.
